Care for Creation Outdoor Mass
“Bless the Lord, O my soul.
O Lord my God, you are very great...
You set the earth on its foundations,
so that it shall never be shaken.
You cover it with the deep as with a garment;
the waters stood above the mountains...” Ps 104
The psalmist is praising God who can be clearly recognized in the incredible beauty, complexity and grandeur of creation. God is the artist and creation is God's expression. In God, we all are expressions of beauty and magnificence. To pause and see this wonderful relationship and then to give thanks to God was our prayer on Friday evening, September 12. Thank you for celebrating the greatness of God. Let us continue to care and protect God's loving gift of life on our common home, Earth.
