Vy serves a dual role with Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as the Administrative Assistant and the Catholic Diocese of Richmond as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Worship. She grew up in the Parochial school system attending St. Piux X in Norfolk and Catholic HIgh in Virginia Beach; and finally graduating summa cum laude with a BS in Business Administration from Old Dominion University with a concentration in Management. A parishioner since 2010, Vy is happy to be a part of the ICC Staff managing the database, bulletin, and receptionist ministry. She lives in Hampton with her husband, Tommy and their dog, Marley.

Steve DeLaney - Assistant Director of Evangelization
Steve serves as the point person for Youth Ministry and Young Adult Ministry at the parish. He has worked in ministry with young people for the past 20 years - in outdoor education, jail ministry, and most recently as a high school teacher and campus minister. He has a M.A. in Theology from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, and has extensive experience in retreats, restorative justice, sustainability, storytelling and poetry. He lives with his wife, Allison, and two sons in Williamsburg, VA.

Carol Dufresne is a transplant to the South from the Big Apple. Initially hired by the Diocese of Richmond to serve as campus minister at Hampton and Norfolk State Universities, Carol was called to Immaculate Conception in 2007. She is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in New York, Hunter College School of Social Work and Cornell University. Carol believes that ministry is about loving people. Her theology of ministry can be summed up by these words from Fr. Gregory Boyle’s Tattoos on the Heart: “God is compassionate, loving kindness. All we’re asked to do is to be in the world who God is…Just assume the answer to every question is compassion.”

Staff member since January 1, 1990, Ann started as a part-time bookkeeper while completing her education in Business Administration. She then received a Bachelors in Accounting and then passed the Certified Public Accounting test. As the Business Administrator, she is responsible for the financial and building aspects of the parish.
Cass has been involved in ecclesial ministry for many years. Eighteen of those years have been spent primarily as Director of Religious Education. Over 30 years as a registered nurse set the stage for assessing person’s needs and setting objectives to meet those needs. She has found that this background has assisted her in transitioning to ministry in a parish setting. Formal education in ministry began at Loyola University and expanded to Shalem Spiritual Institute as well as numerous shorter workshops by important Catholic educators.

Teresa Cobarrubia Yoder was born in Virginia where she pursued studies in Music Composition, Theory and Conducting. She taught AP Music Theory, Chorus and Madrigals at the high school level at Walsingham Academy, Williamsburg VA and is the director of music ministries at Immaculate Conception Church, Hampton VA. Her choruses have performed internationally - including China, Vatican City, Italy, Ireland and England. She has served on boards in a number of music professional organizations and the Diocese of Richmond Liturgical Commission.
Ms. Yoder's compositions reflect an eclectic range of musical styles and levels. She has incorporated her expansive pedagogical knowledge as a teacher and pastoral musician to compose music promoting the works of love, mercy, peace, justice and the environment. Ms. Yoder's "Mass of the Chesapeake" is dedicated to pastor emeritus, Rev. Robert French and the community of ICC. She and her husband, Gene, live in Williamsburg in their home that they built together.
Mark serves as the accompanist/organist for Immaculate Conception and is currently the choral director at Indian River High School in Chesapeake, VA. He has served as organist and accompanist for numerous churches in Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, and Virginia Beach and as a choral director for the Hampton and Chesapeake school divisions. Mark is also an accomplished singer and has sung professionally with the Virginia Symphony chorus and The Virginia Choral in Norfolk.
